Rectangular OTG (Over The Glasses) semi-rimless safety sunglasses that fit over most prescription eye glasses - an extremely cost effective way for spectacle wearers to obtain protection from the sun and the elements. Solid one piece lens with UV400 filters for maximum protection and side vents to minimise fogging.
Will fit over most spectacles up to 155mm across the temples, maximum 54mm lens height, EXTRA LARGE size.
Frame: opaque colours; flexible curved arm ends for comfort; side vents to maximise air flow across the lens and minimise fogging.
Lens: non-polarised uni-lens with anti scratch coating; rimless along the bottom; UV400 blocking; shatterproof polycarbonate.
Labelling: CE and EN166-F marks on inside arm; standards compliance tag.
Pouch: Comes with a FREE microfibre soft pouch, worth £1.97, which doubles as a cleaning cloth.
Approximate Measurements: 157 mm across temples, 55 mm maximum lens height, 117 mm arm/temple length.
These sunglasses meet the EN166-F standard for safety eyewear (high speed particle / low energy impact).
They comply with ISO 12312-1:2013+A1:2015 and block 100% UVA/UVB rays meeting ANSI Z80.3 UV General Purpose Protection Standards.
UV Filter Categories:
Clear and yellow are category 0 - light tint suitable for low light, indoors, cloudy/overcast conditions and night driving.
Amber, green, pink, purple and deep yellow are category 1 - light tint suitable for low light, indoors and cloudy/overcast conditions.
Blue and red are category 2 - medium tint suitable for average sunny weather, daytime driving and general purpose wear.
Black and deep green are category 4 - very dark tint only for very bright conditions and should not be worn whilst driving or operating machinery.
Not to be used for direct viewing of the sun or in a solarium.
