1. These Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions and our Disclaimer apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights. We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date posted at bottom of this page). We reserve the right to change the specifications of our products at any time without notice. Please read the terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.
2. Our Contract
The display of items for sale on this website are simply an invitation to treat. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you finally submit your order at the end of the checkout process. After submitting an order to us we will give you an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered. We will send these details to you in an e-mail (our first e-mail). Please note that this e-mail is an acknowledgement, not acceptance of your order. Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we send you a second e-mail, which will contain details of how we will deliver your products to you. We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method. We will then send you a third e-mail confirming the dispatch of your order.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices and charges on this site are shown in UK pounds sterling and include VAT (for details see ‘Delivery’ below). The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order including VAT at the current rate where appropriate. All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If an item becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative. We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, just occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it.
4. Delivery
Deliveries may need to be signed for by the contact person you have named on your order (except items sent by post which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.
5. Delivery Charges
We offer FREE* UK delivery on orders placed through our website above a certain value as indicated during checkout. We also offer non refundable Expedited* (First Class Royal Mail) and Priority* (Royal Mail Special Delivery guaranteed to arrive by 1pm the next working day) options which you can select during the checkout procedure at extra cost. (* Applies to UK Mainland deliveries only). The shipping costs for international shipments outside the UK will be confirmed during the checkout procedure and are non refundable.
6. How we Deliver
All our products are delivered in the UK by the Royal Mail postal service. Deliveries outside the UK will be via the local postal service.
7. Delivery Times
UK delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive. If you order after 2.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day. In the case of bank holidays and just before Christmas, please allow an extra two working days. Free Postage by 2nd Class Royal Mail usually arrives within 3-10 working days of placing your order. Expedited Postage by 1st Class Royal Mail usually arrives within 2-5 working days of placing your order, the next working day in most cases. Please note, 1st or 2nd Class Royal Mail services are not guaranteed regarding timescales. Please allow for delays over public holiday periods. Deliveries may need to be signed for. We will make every effort to dispatch your order on any preferred dates you specify. We will contact you beforehand to confirm the dispatch date. This will usually be in our third e-mail to you.
International orders will be dispatched via International Royal Mail Signed For or Royal Mail Airsure. The extra cost of this service (which is confirmed during the checkout process) cannot be refunded.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
8. Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. In the unlikely event that an order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrectly, please advise us via email or telephone within 72 hours of receipt.
If your order has not been delivered, please allow up to 20 days after posting for items sent within the UK and the European Union, and 25 days after posting for items sent outside the EU, before you consider it lost. This is because your item could be in the process of being returned to us if it could not be delivered for some reason or may have been held in customs if outside the EU.
All non delveries must be reported within 30 days, we cannot accept any liability for orders that do not arrive after that.
9. This Website
We, our group companies and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all published material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
10. General
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions. Your data protection rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, pre-release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture. These terms and conditions only cover the armerah.uk website. Any other websites to which you link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
11. Returns Policy Returning an Item
Damage In the unlikely event you should receive your goods damaged we will arrange a replacement item for you. It is your responsibility to notify us within 48 hours of receipt that an item has been received damaged (please see Risk and Faulty Returns below).
Risk As soon as we have delivered the products to your door you (the customer) are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.
Incorrect/Non delivery If you receive incorrect goods it is your responsibility to notify us within 48 hours of receipt at which point we will make the necessary arrangements.
We can only accept liability for non-deliveries if we are notified within 3 days of the advised/anticipated delivery date. We have to wait 20 working days (from the due date of delivery) before the Royal Mail will consider an item as lost. They allow 20 working days for items to be returned to the sender.
No Fault Returns If you change your mind and wish to return the goods you can. Under the UK’s Distance Selling Regulations you must do this within 7 days from receiving the goods. The goods must be unused and in the original package and be fit for resale.
We allow you fourteen days from the receipt your goods (for all orders placed in December we extend this until January 14th to cover the Christmas period). Should you wish to take up this option and return the goods, please send them to the address below, at your own cost, and with a copy of the packing slip or just quote the original order number. We will provide your refund once we have received them back in an as new unused condition. Returns made outside this 14 days will not be accepted unless previously authorised.
Before you return the goods at your own cost and risk, it is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are unused, in "as new" condition and fit for resale. They must also be adequately packed, in their original packaging and complete with all manuals and accessories. Goods received back that are not in "as new" condition will be returned to you, at your cost and you will be liable for the return carriage charge which is £3.99 per item (£7.99 outside the UK). Monies will only be refunded once we have received and checked the returned goods. Any money due will be credited within 7 days.
Faulty Returns Products which are faulty or damaged upon arrival should be notified to us within 48 hours from the delivery date. The faulty goods must be returned to us within 7 days at your own cost. Upon receipt and confirmation of the fault you will be offered either a replacement, a repair or full refund, providing the item is complete with all accessories and in its original box and packaging. If the product is not deemed faulty the goods will be returned to you and you will be liable for the return carriage charge which is £3.99 per item (£7.99 outside the UK). This returns policy does not affect the buyers statutory rights.
Warranty Claims Our standard warranty is 12 months from date of purchase unless stated otherwise in the individual product description. All warranty claims (where applicable) must be made in writing to the address below and sent together with the item in question for our assessment at your own cost. Accidental damage and wear and tear are not covered by our warranty. Upon receipt and acceptance of a claim under warranty, the item will be either repaired or exchanged for the same product or for one of an equivalent value should the original product not be available. We cannot offer refunds against any warranty claim. You are liable for the postage and packing charges incurred for the return of the repaired/replacement item. This is currently £3.99 per item (£7.99 outside the UK) and this should be sent with your claim, we cannnot process warranty claims without this payment.
All items supplied free of charge are provided without warranty.
