You won’t be aware of them whilst watching 3D pictures and they help to block unwanted back and side reflections which can affect you viewing experience. They’re better quality than the normal give away cinema glasses and you can just remove them for instant normal vision if you need a break. The thin foil like lenses used in free cinema glasses tend to scratch and become uneven very easily which may cause unwanted reflections and loss of picture quality.
