Approximate Measurements: A = 145mm across temples, B = 47mm maximum lens height, C = 120mm to arm ends.

Changing the lens:
You will see a black plastic piece above the nose bridge, this holds the lens in place. Turn this piece vertically and wiggle it out to remove it, then, you can insert a different lens and replace the black piece.

Removing the arms:
Look at the frame where it connects to the arm, you will see a rectangular lug. Squeeze this inwards between your thumb and forefinger. The arms will then easily slide out so that the strap can be inserted. The arms comes out very easily once you get the hang of it, no need for any force.

These goggles comply with the latest European Standard EN 1836:2005 and block 100% UVA and UVB rays meeting ANSI Z80.3 UV General Purpose Protection Standards. Smoke lenses are UV filter category 3 suitable for bright sunlight, driving and general purpose wear. Clear and yellow lenses are UV filter category 0 suitable low light, cloudy/overcast conditions and night riding.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Initial reaction to the Phoenix was positive: they appeared thoughtfully designed, very well made, and versatile...but how would they stand up to two weeks on & off piste? Well, they stood up really well! If, like me, you need glasses (the optical insert bit which cost less than £40 from Specsavers) to ski, then these goggles are more than worth considering. They're remarkably good value. The only, slightly, negative aspects would be a tendency to mist up - but only if stationary. I just popped them up on the helmet and then repositioned them once under way again. Also, in severe weather, they give the face less protection than conventional goggles. All in all though, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

EXCELLENT, internet shopping at it's best.
I ordered the phoenix goggles/glasses with the prescription insert on a Wednesday and got them the next day, can't get better service than that. EXCELLENT, internet shopping at it's best.

The goggles themselves also appear very good, though I haven't skied with them yet. They are ruggedly made, comfortable and decent air vents. Lens changing is quick & easy.

The prescription lens insert is metal and securely sits close inside main lens

I found it really good value to get 3 lenses, a carry case and strap for goggle conversion, all of equally pleasing quality.

I am getting my lenses made at a lens factory (optilabs.com) near my house, because my prescription is complex It is costing me £50, more standard lenses would cost around £35ish. They had a look at the goggles and pointed out that if your prescription calls for a large convex outward curvature (long-sightedness) they may press against or touch the main lens.

But if you are long sighted I am guessing you probably wouldn't need prescription goggles. For short-sightedness there shouldn't be a problem as those lenses have a different shape.

I can only go skiing about 1 week a year so felt these goggles + prescription to be a good all round deal. - all fully sorted in about three days.
