| Golf sunglasses must be comfortable, lightweight and allow for the maximum field of view without interfering with your swing. They must give visual acuity, you can’t afford any distortion in colour or clarity when lining up a putt, watching your ball flight, or looking for it in the rough. Sunglasses which utilise coloured lenses, such as yellow, amber or orange, provide increased contrast and are great for putting and picking out light objects (the ball) when swinging through. Ideally you want something that can perform in different light conditions - dark lenses for bright summer golfing and yellow (or even clear) lenses for darker overcast days. Lengthy exposure to sunlight means good UV protection is essential even when the light levels are low. |
